Take just one reference among many; Psalm 74:2 ‘this Mount Zion where you have dwelt.’
And where was Mount Zion? It was the City of David as we are so clearly shown, ‘so David captured the fortress Zion, which is the City of David’ (2 Samuel 5:7, 1 Chronicles 11:5).
And here's another: Take a look at Psalm 76:2,3
Asaph the Psalm-writer employs the very ancient and earliest name for Jerusalem—Salem, the settlement and enclosure where Melchizedek dwelt (see Genesis 14:18)!
Asaph identifies ancient Salem with Zion and places the temple right there!
the accompanying picture shows the location, South of so-called Temple Mount by hundreds of meters. HOW COULD TRADITION GET IT SO WRONG? There is no Biblical evidence for the temple anywhere other than in Zion, The city of David.
