Ian is a Seminary-trained Bible teacher, pastor and author. He has also been a businessman. He enjoys sailing his Catalina 34 yacht on Sydney's magnificent Pittwater. He is a member of the ACM Network (Associated Christian Ministries) acm.org.au/ in Australia. His desire is that this site will provide spiritual stimulus, encouragement and hope. Ian writes on Biblical subjects and comments from time to time on current and personal events in an attempt to contribute clarity and Biblical certainty. Until we see? A lost letter...with apologies to C S Lewis's marvelous 'Screwtape Letters'!
My dear Wormwood:
You must never forget that the task at hand is to make evil appear good and that which they've always thought good, evil. This will take time and practice, but you will find that there is a tipping point, after which success will become easier, and, with a bit of luck, many of them will just shrug their shoulders and not care what is right or wrong!
To do this you must cultivate cohorts among them whose minds have already been corrupted, and particularly those who are desperate to justify their own personal depravities. The next step is to ensure that they are articulate and are given a voice, of course, whilst at the same time ensuring those of the other side, are stifled.
There is a knack to this, but you will soon get the hang of it. You will find certain sections of their media who will play easily into your hands as they are filled with people who wish (especially before their colleagues) to appear what they will call 'progressive.' These are the ones you must work with and you'll soon find that it's not so difficult to make churchmen and the Christians appear anything but loving or kind—and in fact, with a little practice, you can make them appear positively evil.
Good luck, especially with your new adventures in confusion concerning marriage and gender!
