The prodigal of Jesus’ parable was ‘FOUND’ even though no-one went looking for him (‘this my son was lost and now is FOUND’). He became ‘FOUND’ because he returned to his ‘FOUND-ation’ and to ‘FOUND-ness’: it was in his father’s house, waiting for him!
FOUND describes a status: that of belonging and person-hood.
You were created to be FOUND ‘in’ that only saving Representative Son, Jesus Christ—within Father’s house!
You belong in Him; your ‘FOUND-NESS’ is in Him; it depends on whether you’ll come home to your Father, ‘in’ Him.
This is what Paul means when he talks about believers ‘being FOUND’ in Christ.
